1860s Staffordshire England Sutherland & Sons Two Figurines Candlesticks 8.5"
Antique unique set of two Candlesticks featuring gorgeous muses in a beautiful draped dresses with cornucopia. Incredibly detailed in polychrome finish generously gild decorated. Marked on the bottom with impressed S & S porcelain mark and mold number.
Sutherland & Sons (S & S) was a 19th-century English porcelain and pottery manufacturer based in Longton, Staffordshire, active from 1865 to 1875. They produced high quality hand-painted Victorian porcelain figures, candlesticks, religious icons, and decorative items marked with an impressed "S&S" and specific mold numbers.
