1814 France Army Officer Sword MofP Grip Emperor Napoleon Waterloo Battle War For Sale

I am offering for sale a circa 1814 French Army Officer epee sword with mother of pearl grips and a blade with multiple gilded etchings depicting military motifs. The pommel depicts a Roman soldier wearing a classical battle helmet. The blade was manufactured in the renowned sword manufacturer in Solingen, Germany, as noted on the top of the backside of the blade. The blade is fullered. It is a variation of the model depicted in image 843 on page 443 of the authoritative French sword guide, Epees by Jean LHoste. It is in excellent condition with age appropriate patina. It measures 36\" long from the tip of the blade to the top of the pommel.
