Description: This item is an 8" brass plaque that commemorates George Washington's 200th birthday in 1932. It was manufactured in 1931 by the Gorham Company for the Automobile Mutual Insurance Company of America (AMICA). AMICA was based in Providence, R.I. and offered this as a promotional item to it customers.

Provenance: Belonged to my maternal Grandmother.
