16.5” Hand Carved Wood African Mask, Metallic Accents, Unknown Vintage or Origin For Sale

Approximately 16.5” tall, 10.5” wide and 6” depth. Dark copper type finish of wire and thin metallic material primarily at the nose and eyelids, along with two wire creature images on the forehead, all of which would indicate this is not antique, but the approximate vintage is unknown. The backside/inner mask shows some apparent non-wood material used to strengthen area between the eyes and at the top where a nail and leather loop has been added for hanging the mask, instead of using a hole that is also there. Handling wear and tear includes some of the metallic peeling.
