15th- 16th Century Medieval Knights Longsword Blade German Triple Fuller Slasher For Sale

This Longsword blade was born in medieval Germany. The triple fuller Is an interesting feature, making it light, and sturdy at the same time. Another interesting feature would be the gold crucifix inscribed on either side as well. This symbol is found during the time of Joan of Arc, and The War of the Roses Period. This type of symbol is found with the Teutonic Knights, the Lorraine Cross, The Cross of Anjou, The order of St. John, the Coptic Cross, The Patriarchal Cross. The circle that is divided is a mystery. I don't know, but likely the War of the Roses. This blade was purposed for engagement with opponents that had no armor these are slasher swords, not an armor piercing weapon. It is very thin and sharp near the rounded tip gradually stiffening to the fluked at the cross guard. German Sword makers were admired for these rare swords and sold them throughout Europe. It appears that the blade has had a cleaning but well kept. There are four marks either pommel strikes, or from a musket ball. Two of these on either side of the blade.
