Please read full description - here is a bulk group of 7 (seven) rough, uncut Brazilian agate nodules or geodes. The specimens in this group measure between 3.00-5.50 inches in diameter. Many of these have more significant chips exposing agate and quartz and are generally flatter in shape. Total weight of all agates is 15.69 pounds. Sample cut/polished agates shown are NOT included, you are buying just the rough un-cut agates shown.

You will receive the seven whole (rough) un-cut agates shown, the sample pictures and video showing opened geodessimply show what these agates typically look like on the inside once cut and polished and are NOT included. They can and will vary from totally solid nodules to containing a hollow cavity lined with sparkly drusy quartz or chalcedony (geode), and some will also contain varying degrees of agate banding in shades of color from blue to grey. Most of these agates will have agate in the rind and a small hollow cavity lined with quartz, and some may still contain water, also. No guarantee on how many in each lot are hollow or solid, lots are created from random pulls of similarly-sized agates in existing stock. This is from stock we have imported direct from Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, at some point in the last 15 years. These agates are best cut with a saw but can be cracked in a geode cracker (soil pipe cutter) but are extremely difficult to open with a hammer/chisel but you will get a rough face with the latter two options and polishing will be much more difficult, as well. Cut with a saw and polished is best with these agates.
