(CELEBRATING 27 YEARS ON !) The vintage, heavy metal, Vigils box is in excellent condition & very heavy. right at 12 pounds. The body shows light to medium wear & has the keys to lock & unlock the box (not dented). Made to bolt to the wall from the inside of the box. Deposit your coins or paper money at the top & kept safe, bolted to the wall (see photos) Not sure when it was made, or what kind of metal, but most likely early to mid19th century. Probably partly brass & metal painted gold.
