Large 116-piece mixed Catholic and Christian religious jewelry and devotional lot, assembled from a wide variety of pieces, styles, ages, sizes and materials.
This is an unusually diverse collection containing everything from tiny lightweight devotional medals and pin-backs to heavier older-feeling medals, crosses, rosaries, rings, clips and small religious figures. Numerous pieces are marked ITALY, along with other markings and inscriptions throughout the collection.
Among the religious figures, saints and devotional subjects seen throughout the lot are Jesus Christ, the Virgin Mary/Madonna and Child, Sacred Heart of Jesus, Immaculate Heart, Our Lady of Fatima, Our Lady of Perpetual Help, St. Christopher, St. Joseph, St. Pius X, St. Ferdinand, St. Elizabeth, Infant Jesus/Holy Child, angels and additional saints and Catholic figures.
Also represented are Miraculous Medals, Marian medals, Sacred Heart imagery, crucifixes, crosses, Holy Family imagery, a St. Benedict medal, Family Rosary/Father Peyton-related imagery, an Apostleship of Prayer/Sacred Heart piece, and a Catholic emergency identification medal reading “I Am a Catholic – In Case of Accident Notify a Priest.”
The 116 pieces include a large assortment of approximately 86 individual medals/pendants and related devotional pieces, plus multiple different crosses and crucifixes, 2 rosaries, religious rings, devotional clips including a vintage-style automobile/visor clip, small religious pin-backs/buttons, angel pins, small religious figures/statues, a miniature figure with case, a large cross with chain, enamel pieces, ribbon/fabric devotional pieces and other unusual religious items.
Materials and construction vary considerably. Pieces include gold-tone, silver-tone, copper/copper-colored metal, enamel, painted metal, marble/stone-like material, fabric, molded material, beads and other mixed materials. Some are extremely lightweight while others are substantially heavier.

This collection has not been individually tested for precious-metal content or professionally dated. No guarantee is being made that any particular piece is sterling silver, gold, copper or another specific metal unless visibly marked. Because of the size and variety of the collection, individual maker and metal marks have not all been researched. Some pieces have considerable patina/oxidation and older construction, and it is certainly possible that antique pieces are present, but they are being sold as unidentified vintage-to-modern pieces rather than represented as confirmed antiques.
Condition varies accordingly. Some pieces are very clean while others show patina, oxidation, finish wear, discoloration, age-related wear and other signs of use/storage. This collection has intentionally not been aggressively cleaned or polished.
Please examine all photographs closely. The photographs are an important part of the description and provide an opportunity to discover individual medals, inscriptions, makers or variations of particular interest.
