This is a remarkable 11 book collection with a unique historical connection to the King of the Cowboys. These comic books are from the personal collection of Columbus Hensley of Cincinnati, Ohio. Mr. Hensley was a childhood friend and schoolmate of Roy Rogers (Leonard Slye) in their hometown of Cincinnati.
This collection was preserved as a tribute to that lifelong friendship and was purchased at a local estate sale alongside a significant archive of Western star autographs. For the serious collector, this history adds a layer of authenticity and local lore that is rarely found.
