11 Different B & W Photos from the 1930 Tournament of Roses Parade in California For Sale

11 different black and white photographs from the 1930 Tournament of Roses parade in Pasadena, California. The theme of the parade was \"Festival Days in Flowers,\" and all of the floats were adorned in more flowers than normal. My great uncle was there and took some photos of the parade. On the back of each photo, he wrote a few words (usually the name of the float) for identification. Here\'s what\'s in the lot of photos (using my great uncle\'s identification information.

1. The Mission Play
2. City of Long Beach
3. City of Burbank
4. Cawston Ostrich Farm
5. The Mayflower
6. City of Anaheim
7. Redondo Beach Chamber of Commerce
8. Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce
9. Heart of Orange County
10. City of Glendale
11. Sierra Madre Red Cross

These photos are all in black and white and are about 2.5\" X 3.5\" My great uncle also numbered the photos from 1 to 11; this may be the order in which the photos were taken/the order of the floats in the parade. My great uncle was NOT a professional photographer but photography was a hobby of his so these photos are probably slightly better than average. Please look at all of the photos in this listing before offerding or buying - these photos are considered part of the description. THESE ARE ALL ORIGINAL PHOTOS THAT WERE TAKEN AND DEVELOPED IN 1930 - they are not reprints, reproductions, or copies. They would make a great addition to any collection of vintage photos or Tournament of Roses memorabilia.. Sorry, no shipping outside the U.S.Thanks for reading!
