A Cheerful Collector Display
Marin Kitagawa’s lively personality comes through in this fan-art sculpture’s smiling, winking portrait and raised-hand gestures. Flowing hair and a loose necktie add movement to the standing pose, while the decorated platform gives the character a playful setting. This 1:8 standard clothed version makes a colorful subject for a My Dress-Up Darling collection.
The sculpt features a collared shirt tied at the waist, rolled sleeves, a pleated skirt, a choker, and bracelets. The reference finish combines blonde hair with pink tips, blue clothing accents, and lavender scenery. A heart-shaped platform with a large front bow, floral cushion, heart decorations, and a small chibi companion figure completes the composition.
This physical resin garage kit arrives unpainted, unprimed, and unassembled in high-quality grey ABS-like photopolymer resin. The portrait, clothing folds, hair strands, and decorative accessories offer a varied preparation and painting project. Follow the reference palette or develop a coordinated finish of your own for the standard clothed character and display base.
Statue Scale Reference
1:8 scale: approximately 225 mm / 8.9 in for a standing human figure using a generic full-size reference of 1800 mm / 70.9 in.
This is a general character-height reference, not Marin’s confirmed height or a guaranteed overall statue measurement. Her pose, hair, raised hands, and decorated platform affect the finished dimensions. Message us on if you need exact measurements for your display space.

Painted reference images illustrate the sculpt and a possible finished color scheme. Colors, shading, and surface finishes shown are not included with the raw kit. This listing describes the standard clothed version at 1:8 scale.
Unpainted
ALL UNPAINTED RAW RESIN KITS SHIP UNASSEMBLED. Your kit arrives unpainted and unprimed. Preparation, assembly, priming, and painting are required for a finished display.
Painted
Professional hand-painting is an optional paid service using non-toxic acrylic paints. Painting requires additional production time, and natural variation is part of a hand-painted finish. Contact us to discuss your preferred colors, rates, and turnaround. For painted orders only, smaller models generally arrive mostly assembled with fragile parts separate where needed; larger painted statues may ship partially disassembled for protection.
Paint Updates
Once your order starts the painting step you'll be notified and asked how and if you want to receive bi-weekly (twice a week) image updates on your order.
What You Get
One physical 1:8 Marin Kitagawa standard clothed resin kit with the depicted heart-shaped platform, bow, floral cushion, heart decorations, and small chibi companion figure. Components arrive unpainted and unassembled.
Assembly
Dry-fit the character and scenic components before bonding with an adhesive suitable for resin. Handle the fingers, hair tips, tie, and decorative details carefully. NO GLUE IS INCLUDED.
Finishing
Supports are removed as much as possible from larger pieces. Smaller fragile pieces are kept on supports for safe transit and to prevent misplacing them. We recommend using nippers to carefully remove these smaller pieces.
Minor cleanup, sanding, fitting, filling, and surface preparation may still be necessary.
Shipping
Each kit is printed to order, inspected, and carefully packed. Protective packaging and bubble wrap are used where appropriate to protect the individual components during transit.
