Charming vintage Latvian porcelain figurine known as "Folk Dance (Boy)" or "Dancer Boy", produced by the Riga Porcelain Factory in Latvia during the Soviet era.
Designed by Leja Novozeneca, the figure depicts a young male dancer in a lively traditional folk-dance pose, with one leg extended forward and both hands resting at his waist. The animated stance and cheerful expression give the piece wonderful movement and personality.
The figurine is hand painted in a restrained mid-century palette of ivory, cream, warm brown and red, with blue eyes and delicate gilt accents. His traditional costume features red trim at the jacket, neck, and ankles, while the round base is finished with a narrow gold band.
This model is associated with the Latvian folk-dance series produced by the Riga Porcelain Factory and dates to the mid-20th century. Documented examples of the same model measure approximately 13 cm tall, closely matching this figurine's approximately 5.25-inch height.

Very good vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs found. The figurine retains a glossy porcelain finish with attractive original hand-painted decoration and gilt accents.
