Vintage Batignani Italy Fine Ceramic Bowl Hand Painted Hydrangea Pure Gold Gilt For Sale

This exquisite vintage art pottery bowl was handcrafted by the renowned Ceramiche Batignani factory in Tuscany, Italy, celebrated for high-end ceramics since 1907. Entirely hand-thrown and hand-decorated, the exterior features a breathtaking, multi-tonal hydrangea floral motif paired with incredibly vibrant green foliage. The prominent upper collar is hand-painted with genuine liquid pure gold gilt that has been kiln-fired to achieve a heavy, highly polished metallic finish. Dating to the mid-to-late 20th century, this authentic piece still retains its original factory export foil label on the base alongside the painted studio signature. While missing its original lid, this open-top vessel is a masterpiece of Italian majolica craftsmanship that serves as a stunning standalone display piece, an upscale orchid planter, or a beautiful studio reference for botanical artists.

Please examine the photos carefully and ask questions before the purchase. The bowl is in excellent condition with the exception that it\'s missing the lid that supposedly was there originally and also there\'s a tiny chip on the inside of the rim as shown in one of the photos. Please ask questions before the purchase as no returns are accepted. Thank you.
