1.32 inches⸻🌟 DescriptionThis piece comes from my personal collection, carefully kept as a natural mineral display specimen.“Stardust” is a small natural Himalayan quartz specimen from Ganesh Himal, Nepal, distinguished by its exceptional transparency, sparkling silvery-white mica association, subtle pale-green phantom zoning, pronounced Akashic-style growth lines, circuit-board-like surface textures, layered Nirvana-style triangular formations, and a naturally recrystallized floater-style base.Despite its compact size, the specimen carries an unusually rich combination of surface and mineral detail. Viewed from the front and sides, the quartz body is remarkably clear and glassy. Light passes easily through much of the crystal, revealing the internal structure while emphasizing the sharply defined natural faces and layered growth records.One of the most striking features is the extensive development of Akashic-style horizontal growth lines across the main crystal faces. These fine parallel striations intersect with broader stepped patterns, creating an intricate circuit-board-like texture. Under changing light, the lines shift between bright silver reflections and transparent windows into the crystal.The reverse side creates a completely different visual character. Here, the clear quartz becomes richly associated with numerous silvery-white mica flakes and tiny sparkling mica points. Rather than appearing as a single large sheet, much of the mica is distributed as countless reflective flecks across the surface. When illuminated, these minute points catch the light individually, producing the scattered, star-like appearance that inspired the name “Stardust.”Among the silvery mica association is a subtle pale-green phantom-like zoning. The green coloration is delicate rather than strongly saturated, appearing almost like a faint translucent haze woven through the silver-white mineral association. Together, the pale green and reflective mica create a soft green-and-silver appearance without overwhelming the naturally clear character of the quartz.The reverse also displays an intricate field of layered triangular growth and dissolution textures. Repeated triangular forms overlap and step across one another, producing a naturally sculptural surface reminiscent of Nirvana-style growth patterns. These layered triangular structures contrast beautifully with the smooth transparency and linear growth markings visible on the clearer faces.Around the base, natural secondary crystallization and irregular growth surfaces give the specimen a floater-style appearance. Instead of presenting a simple flat attachment surface, the lower portion shows continued crystallization and natural texture, adding another layer of growth history to the specimen.Small companion quartz growths occur around portions of the main body, further enhancing its three-dimensional structure. From one angle, “Stardust” appears almost entirely clear and architectural; when turned toward the mica-rich reverse, it transforms into a densely sparkling landscape of silver points, pale green mineral zoning, tiny crystals, and layered triangular textures.Its strongest visual contrast is therefore between two very different surfaces: a highly transparent, line-rich crystal face on one side and a sparkling mica-rich, softly green, textured mineral landscape on the other.
