The Montblanc “No. 22” fountain pen is a lightweight, compact vintage fountain pen manufactured in the 1960s as part of the so-called “Two-Digit (Digitite) Series.”

Wing Nib (Integrated Nib): It features a “wing nib,” in which the nib appears to be embedded in the barrel, and is crafted from 14-karat gold (585). It is characterized by a uniquely smooth and supple writing experience.

Size and Weight: With a length of approximately 130 mm when retracted, it is slightly smaller and slimmer than average; however, inserting the cap at the rear provides a solid length and balance, making it very easy to handle.

Filling Mechanism: It uses a “piston filling system” where ink is drawn up by turning the rear of the barrel. A window on part of the barrel allows you to check the ink level.
