Up for sale is an antique A. J. Wilkinson & Co. 9-inch folding handle drawknife, featuring the classic July 16, 1895 patent design. The folding handle mechanism locks securely via wingnut joints, protecting the blade when folded for safe tool chest storage.Condition Details:
Blade & Steel: Substantial build weighing 1 lb 5.4 oz. The cutting edge is sharp and ready to work. Steel body exhibits light cosmetic pitting on the spine/back and appropriate age patina.
Handles: Both folding mechanisms function properly. One handle is intact with smooth dark finish; the other handle is missing a chip/section of wood along the side as shown in photos.
