You are offerding on Antique 18th Century Worcester Royal Porcelain Co. Royal Lilly Cup & Saucer This set is not a standard coffee cup and saucer it a larger set as described below:
A Royal Worcester cup that measures 4.25 inches (4 1/4") wide at the top rim is either a Breakfast Cup or a V.I.P. Cup. These are oversized cups & are designed to be used with a wider 6.5-inch Saucer (which is included) to safely catch drips and rest a larger spoon. Standard coffee cups and tea cups are much smaller, usually measuring between 2.75 and 3.5 inches across.
According to the Royal Worcester Museum the Royal Porcelain Co Ltd was formed in 1862. Over the years factory marking of pieces has evolved and although marks vary from impressed and hand written to printed emblems, the majority of bone china produced was marked in the way described below:The Green backstamp is an antique Royal Worcester mark featuring the interlocking 'W' monogram and the number 51 (signifying the company's founding year of 1751), with the crown resting directly on the circle, a style introduced in 1876. The central circle incorporates four intertwined "W"s representing Worcester surrounding the number 51. The placement of the crown directly touching the outer circle indicates a manufacturing date circa 1876-1891.  Check the pictures
