The Emergency Trauma Bandage orIsraeli bandage is a specially designed, first-aid device that is used to stopbleeding from hemorrhagic wounds caused by traumatic injuries in pre-hospitalemergency situations.
These genuine USGI trauma bandages aremilitary surplus items and categorized as "blemished" because theexterior packaging on these units have lost the vacuum seal. These ETB's arestill in their original packaging with both exterior & interior vacuum sealwrapping. The exterior packaging on these examples have lost their vacuum seal,however, the interior (clear) packaging is still intact and vacuum sealed. Someexamples may have minor blemishes or signs of wear such as dirt, small bubblesin the plastic, slight fading and/or small scuffs on the packaging label/mfgstickers. The loss of the exterior vacuum seal and any exterior blemishes doesnot affect or compromise the interior bandage as they are still individuallywrapped & sealed in the original clear packaging.
