Black cloth hardboards with decorative floral and checkerboard designs, raised orange cottage scene and lettering on front; orange lettering on spine. In Good++ condition, no spine cracks, top and bottom corners are slightly bumped in, otherwise little wear on the covers, clean and nicely designed. Most pages are very clean; no tears or scribbles, we note a few pencil notes on a few page, one indented page from a paper clip, and a few darkened page where newspaper clippings were at one time stored. Hinges are secure, very good binding. This book bears the old tab indexes for each category, they are clean, and readable, except for the salads tab is partially worn off, some age toning, some slight curling on the tabs.
