| Description: |
A cracker jar or handled covered jar in a sapphire blue glass eith a touch of opalescent. Stands 8 in. tall and measures 6.25 in. diameter plus the handles. This jar is unmarked but I believe it was produced by the Summit Art Glass Co. from the original Westmoreland Glass Co. mold. Both Westmoreland Glass And Summit Art Glass are now closed. This item was in an estate I purchased and has been in storage since the late 1980's. Previous owners had a collection of these cracker jars. This is the cherry and cable pattern. No damage to detract from display or use. Todays collectible, Tomorrows treasured Antique.
