I believe the nickel plated cast iron cookware by the Griswold Co. was produced in the late 1930's era. This pan is called the chicken fryer. Measures 3 in. tall plus the lid. The inside width is 10 in. diameter. The lid is marked #8 Self Basting 1098 Pat. 1,330,209 1554360 and 779. The bottom has the Griswold mark Erie Pa. USA 777. Used, but well cared for.
