View Larger Image   Draper & Co. Brass Oil Can Antique Rare!   Description: This is a very nice, well made, antique all brass oil can marked "F. DRAPER & CO. EAST CAMBRIDGE MASS. U.S.A." around the knurled spout ring. This is a thicker wall oil can than the newer vintage oil cans, with a good heavy cast bottom lip that has helped this antique oil can hold is original shape over the years, with only a few smaller dents, some minor wear and scratches, but a very nice finish overall. The spout is threaded, and fits very well, is straight and not damaged. The bottom is slightly thinner brass, and it appears that the bottom is applied with a lead or leaded base braze in the seam around the outside of the bottom underside ring. This can is 4" tall x 2.73" diameter at the base.
