View Larger Image   Policeman Metal String Walker   Description: I believe this great old toy is called a string or rope walker. A very colorful policeman in full uniform with an eagle on his cap is winking,and smiling as he rides his bicycle on a strong string stretched between two objects. In excellent condition.I can find no makers name, but believe this is from the early 1900's.This measures 8 in. long and is 7 in. tall. The counter weight is made of cast iron and is 7 in. long. This keeps him from tipping over to the sides.
