View Larger Image   Millefiori Figurine, Penguin/Bird   Description: This is a superb example of the art of millefiori. This figurine of a bird/penguin stands 6 1/8 in. tall. In perfect condition. The art of making millefiori is becoming a dying art. Several strands of hot glass are twisted together and then sliced to form the beautiful pattern. The craftsmanship on this figurine is fabulous. I believe this to be an older example of this glassmaking art.It has a satin finish as opposed to the more commonly found glossy/clear glass finish.     Contact:   Globe Antiques and Collectibles Seller:   Dealer/Mall    View Seller's Policy Seller Accepts:   I accept credit cards through PayPal, Money Orders,Cashiers Checks and Personal checks.
