View Larger Image   Black Amethyst Mt.Pleasant Bowl   Description: This black amethyst bowl in the Mt Pleasant pattern from the depression era was produced by the L.E.Smith co. In the '30's I believe. In excellent condition, it measures 8 in. diameter and stands 3.5 in. tall. There are 2 lines in the bottom of the inside that could be use scratches or straw marks from the cooling process when it was made. No nicks, chips, etc. Black glass always adds an elegant touch to your table setting or display.
