vtg antique chrome SEAIRLAND Fire Siren land sea Air Raid not Federal or Sireno For Sale

not a Federal Sign and Signal Corp. siren or a Sireno Co. or a Mars Signal Co. or a Champion Siren but a...Seairland siren, made in Chicago, Illinois. good luck googling that. seriously.i found this in the attic of my grandfather's garage, wrapped in some old wax paper in a box of leather scraps where it had been sitting since at least the early 1950's.. he probably bought it sometime between 1939 when he graduated from high school and 1951 when the family moved out of the garage and into the house he built with his brother and father.
i have wiped it down with a sock and not applied any cleaner nor polish. no serial number or type or voltage stamped on the tag. chrome is near perfect. no rust no dents or pitting. there are a few very light scratches that are shown in the pictures.no idea if it works but my grandfather was a hard brother and could fix anything. so if he kept it around it must have worked.about 3 5/8 across not including bracket and about 2 1/2" thick.
