here\'s a 3 patent date Stanley Bailey number 4 smoothing plane with a corrugated sole. It is probably a type 11.

The tote is not original and has damage in the middle but still works. The front knob has a chip on its base as can be seen in the photo.

There are dings, scratches, discoloration some light pitting, and japanning loss on the plane bed.

THERE IS A SMALL CRACK ON ONE CORNER OF THE EDGE OF THE SOLE\'S MOUTH. Still a very usable plane.

Lightly cleaned and oiled. All moving parts work.
