pre-WWI Era US Army M1909 Bolo Knife - Marked: Plumb Phila w/Flaming Bomb over 1917 - Original - Very NICE
Up for sale is a pre-WWI Era US Army M1909 Bolo Knife. This is the knife only, no scabbard. The blade is marked: Plumb Phila w/Flaming Bomb over 1917 on one side and US over 40638 on the other side. The blade is bright with scattered discoloration spots. No rust or pitting. Some minor finish wear on the blade. No chips in the blade, see photo.The markings are light but readable. The grips are made from Coco Bolo material. There are some normal nicks and handling marks on the grips, no cracks. The brass end cap is still present, see photos. The knife is used, please see photos for details and condition.
