small confit 9 inches and
STUNNING POT À CONSERVES FOR DAILY USE IN THE KITCHEN. THE STUNNING YELLOW/MUSTARD GLAZE IS BEAUTIFUL AND THICK. SINCE THESE WERE UBIQUITOUS THROUGHOUT PROVENCE AND LANGUEDOC, I CAN ONLY GUESS THAT THE POTERIE WAS MADE NEAR UZES IN ST QUENTIN LA POTERIE. WHY? THE COLOR OF THE UNGLAZED CLAY. 5.5+ INCHES. MADE BEFORE 1850. IT IS SUCH A GREAT POTERIE GIVING A SENSE OF PROVENCE.
