c1960's Kodachrome 35mm Slide, Soviet Cargo Ship and Hydrofoil Boat in Harbor For Sale

This vintage 35mm slide captures a maritime scene featuring a Soviet cargo vessel and a high-speed hydrofoil passenger boat navigating a busy harbor. The large cargo ship is displayed on the right, showcasing a distinct funnel emblem featuring the hammer and sickle symbol. To the left, a smaller hydrofoil craft is seen in motion, creating a wake as it travels across the water. The midground reveals an active industrial shipyard equipped with multiple large gantry cranes and various storage structures. The composition emphasizes the contrast between the heavy industrial machinery of the port and the sleek, modern design of the hydrofoil. The clear blue sky and calm water show a bright day, typical of mid-century travel photography. This image provides a fascinating look at Cold War-era maritime technology and international shipping logistics. The Kodachrome film stock retains excellent color saturation and sharp detail across the harbor landscape. The slide mount is clean and the image remains in good condition for its age. SKU: B11-3-02
