Original mounted photograph, measuring about 4\" x 7\", showing an early open-top “Seeing New York” sightseeing automobile bus loaded with well-dressed passengers. The reverse features an attached period broadside-style advertisement for the American Sight-Seeing Car and Coach Company, which ran daily tours from the Flat Iron Building on Fifth Avenue. Excursions included Downtown Automobiles ($1 fare) and nighttime Chinatown & Bowery trips ($2 fare, with meals and entertainment).

This company was among the first to operate motorized sightseeing tours in New York City, beginning in the early 1900s, and was heavily associated with the landmark Flatiron Building.
