Map showing automobile routes entering Yosemite National Park / Yosemite National Park.This is a lovely folding map produced by the Automobile Club of Southern California displaying roads between Stockton and Fresno in California\'s Central Valley, as well as those leading eastwards to the Sierra Nevada, including Yosemite National Park. A wealth of information is given on the quality of roads, distances between cities and towns, national forest and park boundaries, ranger stations, and more. Small insets display the downtown portions of Stockton, Modesto, Merced, and Fresno, while a larger inset at bottom-left displays the main automobile roads through the Yosemite Valley. Two mileage tables are provided, while the verso includes a photograph of the valley and useful information, such as park regulations.
This map is quite scarce, only being recorded in the OCLC at five institutions (cataloged with wildly variant suggested dates but in any case identified by the number 495 in the bottom-right corner).
