The edge of the thimble has a beaded design.The thimble has the early anchor Stern Brothers mark, and marked "STERLING SILVER” and “9” on the interior crown.
Second thimble: Antique sterling silver thimble is decorated with Greek key motif. Thimble measures approx. 3/4 tall and 5/8 inch in diameter, at the base. Wear and darkening consistent with age. Marked on the interior crown "STERLING” and “10” on the outside.
