ZIPPO 1965 \"CHAMPION SPARK PLUGS\" LIGHTER VINTAGE NICE CONDITION.This item is a used ZIPPO Lighter advertising \"CHAMPION SPARK PLUGS\" from 1965. This 121-year-old company traces its roots back to 1905 in Boston. In 1910 the factory was moved to Toledo, Ohio to be near the automotive industry.The front side of the lighter has the etched \"Champion\" red and black logo in the center. The word, \"Dependable\" is etched above the logo and \"Spark Plugs\" is etched below the logo.The reverse side is blank. This 61-year-old used lighter shows age with some light surface marks, scratches and surface wear and small dings in the top. The wick is discolored, but it does have the distinctive ZIPPO click.I am selling it as used and \"as is condition\" in case there is something I didn\'t see. I have never fired this lighter since I purchased it over 40 years ago. I cannot attest to the previous owner, but it has been previously fired.The bottom has 1 dot to the left of Zippo indicating the outer case is from 1965.No box or paperwork with this lighter. I am selling it as is. This is a used Zippo lighter with some imperfections but still a very nice addition to any Zippo or Automobilia collection.Please consider the photos as part of the description.My photography skills keep showing a shadow on the lighter which is not there.As a collector all of my lighters have been stored in Ryker display cases for almost 40 years.
