World War II vintage, Marbles \"expert\" pattern hunting knife, w/ bakelite handle For Sale

Marbles resorted to dark brown or black bakelite handles because of the shortage of aluminum during the World War II era. This helps identify when this example was made.This knife has a 5 inch blade which appears to be unused. NO sharpening marks, no scratches, or pitting. The best example that I have seen. Extremely rare to find in this condition.The stacked leather handle is perfect, smooth with no gouges to the leather. The brass, red and black spacers at each end of the handle are factory polished.The stamping is excellent, easily read and deep.The sheath was custom made at some point, excellent, except for a small cut to the leather near the point. but otherwise very good condition.
