This is from a family in west Texas. There is SO MUCH here. Letters galore. He was a world war 2 pilot, shot down, who became a prisoner of war. Went through grueling trials and tribulations. He wrote home, tons and tons of letters. There’s war department letters, VA letters, congress letters and so much more. Included is everything you see! His leather original flight bag, some flight logs (not a lot), pictures of him and lots of family photos, IDs from the military and much more. It’s an incredible collection. The letters are insanely detailed and paint a crazy picture of what life was like as a POW. You get everything you see in the photos. We just think someone would be grateful to have these!
