Wolverine #1-189 massive lot Deadpool MCU #88 154 155 + more 215 comics:
$1096.53

This massive lot of comics is hard to portray with 24 photo slots. I\'ve included scans of the front and back cover of the major issues, #1, 8, 10, 88, 154 and 155. When it comes to those issues, here are some grades and notes:

#1 - VF- spine tics/stress lines with some colour breaks. The tips of the corner edges on the front cover both have tiny colour breaks. The tips on the back cover are bent a bit and some white is showing. There are a few finger bends/indents on both sides. White pages

#8 - NM a few faint stress lines along the spine. White pages.

#10 - VF the spine has a few faint stress lines on it. The logo on the front has some indents and little scratch like lines, that top corner edge has a little crease/bend. The bottom edge on the back cover has the faintest of lines. White pages.

#88 - VF+ the spine does have a few faint tics that break colour. The comic comes with a Marvel subscription insert and, over time, there has been a faint crease/line formed on the front cover that is an outline of it, no doubt from being pressed up tight in a box over the years. The back cover has a few faint lines on it. The tip of the bottom corner edge on the front cover has a tiny bend.

#154 - NM- the spine has a few faint tics and stress lines that break some colour. The back cover has a few indents and a faint little scratch like line, tilt the comic to see them.

#155 - NM there is few slight tics and stress lines on the spine with some slight colour break. There is a thin line along the top edge on the front an back cover, it must have come off the press with it. There are some faint finger bends on the back cover, tilt the cover to see them.

The set is, for the most part VF to NM with some exceptions. Here\'s some notes on a few that fall below that category:

#7 - Fine+ spine tics, a small spine split at the bottom spine corner. There are these thin scratch like lines by the Spider-Man head and there is some light creasing/lines in the logo.

#27 - Fine when you tilt the comic you can see a couple of creases running from the spine to the side edge on the front cover and both break some colour. The top corner edge on the comic has a little crease/colour break and there is one on the back which is smaller, some of the corner edges of the interior pages have little creases.

#28 - VF- looks sharp but there is a little stain mark in the middle of the front cover.

#36 - VG the bottom corner edge of the front cover has a large colour break, that corner was folded right over and is now dog-eared. The spine has some tics that break colour. The side edge on the back cover has a couple of large if faint creases along it, the spine ahs some tics that break colour. White/off-white pages with some tanning around the edges.

#42 - Fine- the top corner edge of the comic is wrinkled somewhat, the top corner edge on the back cover looks like it has a faint smear of something, tilt the comic to see it. There is a little colour break there as well.

#132 - VF- there is a crease running down the spine, top to bottom with some colour break, it looks like it was caused by the gatefold covers they were using at the time. Something that does show up on some of the other comics of this era, this one stands out more than the rest I find. There are spine tics as well and a little colour breaking line along the side edge of the back cover.

#139 - Fine the top edge of the front cover by the corner edge has a couple of small tears and colour breaks, including at the corner edge.

#153 - VF- the bottom edge on the back cover has a thin crease/bend along i with a colour break, the bottom spine corner isn\'t as sharp as it could be and a split seems to be forming.

-1 - VG+ the top corner edge of the comic have all these little pock marks, indents, creases and some tears/holes that go into a few of the interior pages.

The last four or so issues had some storage issues, the boards were pretty warped, causing the comics to not quite lay flat along with some spine tics, VF- to VF for those. That happens here and there in the run, but nothing major I find.

The annuals that are included in this set are \'96, \'97, 2000 and 2001. All are newsstands and are a bit banged up, spine tics, some colour breaks at the corners, small bends, finger bends, a bit of creasing. They go from Fine to VF-.

#90 does have the sealed trading card.

#131 is not the recalled issue but it\'s replacement with the correct text.

Also included in this set are some one-shots and mini\'s, condition wise they are in the VF to NM range like the set with a few exceptions, here\'s a list of what is included:

Revolver #1

Under the Boardwalk #1

Days of Future Past #1-3

Encyclopedia Vol. 1

Exit Wounds #1

Saudade #1

Xisle #1-5

Wolverine Hulk #1-4

Wolverine Doop #1-2

#900

#1000

Xilse #4 - there is some kind of residue in the UPC code, at first I thought it was ink but it feels like I could scrap it off, and take some of the cover with me so it stays.

The Sam Kieth Hulk/Wolverine four part mini is the exception, they didn\'t have bags/boards and none lay flat, some slight spine curls, a bent corner, spine tics. They all also suffer from some colour rub, white showing up in the black on the covers. They would have to be fine+ to VF-.

With the 189 issues of the series, the flashback, four annuals that\'s 194 comics. Add in the 21 odds and ends comics you get a grand total of 215 comics books.

White pages for the most part. Some of the earlier issues have some tanning/fading on the edges of the back cover and that does show up on some of the edges of the comics, some a bit worse. It\'s not many but a few. In general I\'d say the later issues are a bit better than the earlier ones but on the whole it\'s a nice set with only a few comics banged up here and there.

These grades are ultimately my opinion of the comics and grading can be a subjective thing so if you have any questions about them please do not hesitate to ask. I\'m usually quick to respond.

A note about shipping. This weighs 18 kilos, that\'s almost 40 pounds. It\'s heavy, it\'s a lot of comics and it\'s not cheap, if anyone wants to go to canadapost.ca and see what it costs go check it out!

Thanks for looking!
