William Steig, Cartoonist & Author, Enamel on Copper Plate c1950s Humorous 5” For Sale

This vintage enamel 5” diameter plate is by William Steig, (1907-2003), who was a cartoonist and an author. This piece features a whimsical illustration and the phrase “I Mind My Own Business” and his signature too. On the back is stamped ‘Bernard’. Steig also wrote children’s books, including SHREK, of which the movie was made. Very cool collectible piece.
