Westmoreland Large Milk Glass Beaded Grape Square Pedestal Compote 9” UV Glow
This is a lovely Vintage Westmoreland Milk Glass Square Pedestal Compote. The pattern is Beaded Grape. The compote is lidded and is in Excellent Condition – no chips, scratches, cracks or crazing. It is hard to find such a large compote and lid intact in such great condition with no damage at all. The compote measures approximately 9” tall and 7” wide. This is the Large Compote.The base is approximately 3” across.
I am not sure of the age of this piece. Based on its maker’s mark, it appears it was made after 1940. It was tested under a black light, and it does have a Green Manganese Glow. Someof the pictures show this. (This is not Uranium Glass. It will not glow under a 395-wavelength black light.)
