Welfare Handicrafts Handmade Blue & White Round Box:
$15.00
Welfare Handicrafts was a social enterprise organization that operated in the mid-to-late 20th century, providing employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities through the production of handcrafted items. These organizations were part of a broader movement to create meaningful work and economic independence for people with developmental and physical disabilities. Items produced by Welfare Handicrafts are valued today as vintage collectibles that represent an important chapter in disability rights and social welfare history. They appeal to collectors of vintage handicrafts, social history enthusiasts, and those interested in mid-century decorative arts.
