Waukon Iowa, Waukon state bank blank check, this was apparently meant as a gift certificate for a haircut appointment, per the note on the back of the check. Also, when found, the check was enclosed in a clear plastic keeper, with a gold-colored silhouette of a women's head, probably from Rosies Emporium ( can't make out the word before emporium).
Not sure of the year, this is obviously very old just per the yellowing of the paper, check measures about 6" x 2 3/4".
