Up for sale is a 100% complete, original copy of Walt Disney's Donald Duck #35 (1954,Dell Comics) featuring iconic art by Carl Barks.
This book has fantastic eye appeal with bright, vibrant colors and moderate original cover gloss, but presents with some structural wear typical of its age.
Detailed Condition Report
Front Cover: Cover art is bright and vibrant with moderate original gloss. Tight on the staples. Minor defects include a 1/4" crease on the bottom corner and a 1/2" crease on the top corner.
Spine: Moderate spine roll from storage. No spine splits or tears, but shows moderate wear with multiple spine ticks.
Back Cover: Features light soiling in the margins. Contains a 1/4" crease on the bottom cover and a 2-1/2" faint crease running froim the bottom edge near the outer corner up into the cover.
Interior: 100% complete with no cutouts, no interior writing and no coupons filled out. Pages are supple with off white-to cream coloration. The centerfold is tight on the staples. Story art remains incredibly strong and print is crisp and clear. Features a few tiny printer spur holes in the bottom margin (a standard manufacturing anomaly from this printing era, not a handler flaw). There is a minor 1/4" tear over the lower staple on the centerfold and a tiny chip is missing off the lower corner of page 1.
Shipping and Handling:The comic will be bagged and boarded, placed in a rigid cardboard sandwich and then sealed in a cardboard comic mailer so that the book you receive will be exactly as described.
