Walt Disney's Comics and Stories #1 comic book. KEY First Issue of the series! Does not have a cover, but is complete. Obviously not a high grade copy, but those sell for $50,000. This copy is for a true collector who want to hold the book and read the stories.
I debated on whether to send this off to CGC. They would tag it as NG and encapsulate it in hard plastic. (You can buy one on at the time I posted this, If that is your thing). You could look at the outside pages, but, never open it, or read the stories, or admire the creativity. In the end, I decided to keep it raw. Buy it and add a facsimile cover, preserve it, or leave it as is. Regardless, I hope the person who buys it loves Disney, loves comics, and loves this book.
I picked this up at an estate sale, from a collector who really loved the Disney books. This was one of about 10 that did not have covers.
While it's not graded, I will vouch for it's authenticity. I researched the stories, the artwork and the table of contents to ensure it is legit. I would also venture to state it has not been restored. I will take additional photos of any interior pages if desired.
