"The Photoplayer and Talkies" was a moviemagazine celebrating the transition from silent films to motion pictures withsound. - The magazine was published in Sydney (Neutral Bay area), Australia.
- Features a full page tribute to Shirley Temple and her newest film, "Heidi" (referenced here as "Heidi of the Alps."
