Unlike an individual Janitor in a Slum piece or conventional decorative print, this is an intact 16-up sheet retaining its surrounding margins and production-style markings.
The reverse is particularly interesting and is printed rather than blank. It contains a repeated puzzle/checklist-style design corresponding to the individual positions on the front of the sheet.
The outer areas of the sheet retain crop/registration markings associated with its production. These characteristics are particularly interesting because the sheet remains intact rather than having been cut into individual pieces.
Janitor in a Slum has an unusual history within the Wacky Packages hobby. The artwork was among the unpublished designs that became associated with the Lost Wackys project and was later officially issued by Topps in a subsequent Wacky Packages release.
This sheet has been in my personal collection for more than 19 years. It has remained intact and has not been cut, trimmed, mounted or otherwise intentionally altered while in my collection.
CONDITION:
The sheet remains completely uncut and presents very nicely for an unusual production-format piece of this age.
As an oversized uncut sheet, there may be normal minor handling, edge, corner, surface or margin imperfections. Please review all photographs carefully for the exact condition.
