Vintage original WWII women\'s American Red Cross winter (dark gray) service hat with the enamel pin.There is no size tag but it measures about a size 21 1/2 (it could maybe stretch to a 22, but it would be tight).
The hat is in fairly good condition; wearable, but it does have minor issues. There are a few tiny holes. On the underside of the brim, there is a hole. Light staining (not too noticeable) on the back of the hat. Some wear on the sweatband. See photos for size and condition.
A note on vintage fabrics: I am not the original owner of these items, therefore I cannot guarantee their history. I am a non-smoker myself, but can\'t say the garment has never been around cigarette smoke or moth balls. While I would never list an item I find to have an offensive odor, I cannot ensure buyers (especially those very sensitive to odors) will feel the same as smell is subjective.
