Up for sale is an authentic hand signed 5 1/2\" x 8 1/2\" bookplate for \"A Proud American\" signed by legendary World War II Marine Corps aviators Joe Foss, Donna Wild Foss, Bob Owens, Roger Conant, Roger Habermann, and William Farrell.
These signatures were obtained in person and are original hand signed autographs — not preprints, reproductions, or facsimile signatures.
Multiple examples may be available from the original signing acquisition.
ABOUT THE SIGNERS
Joe Foss was one of the most celebrated United States Marine Corps fighter aces of World War II and became widely recognized for his combat leadership in the Pacific Theater. Credited with numerous aerial victories during the Guadalcanal campaign, Foss later served as Governor of South Dakota and remained an important figure in American aviation and military history.
Together with fellow Marine Corps aviators Bob Owens, Roger Conant, Roger Habermann, and William Farrell, this bookplate represents the courage and legacy of the WWII Marine fighter pilots who served during the Pacific air war.
