Vintage World War II U.S. Navy enlisted dress blue uniform consisting of the traditional jumper (pullover blouse) and bell-bottom trousers.
This uniform features a number of desirable WWII details including embroidered Liberty Cuffs with colorful dragon design, a USS Chicago ship identification patch, and a ribbon bar displaying American Campaign Medal and Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal.
The sleeve insignia indicates the rank of Petty Officer Second Class – Radioman rating.
Liberty cuffs were privately embroidered while sailors were stationed overseas, most commonly in ports throughout the Pacific and Asia during WWII. They were not regulation for wear on duty but were popular when sailors were on shore liberty.
