Original WWII-era U.S. M1905 full-length bayonet manufactured by Oneida Limited (OL).
This is the 16-inch blade version commonly referred to by collectors as the M1905/42 or M1942. The M1905 was originally designed for the M1903 Springfield and was also used with the M1 Garand during World War II.
The ricasso has original military markings, including the Oneida Limited “OL” maker marking. Please review the close-up photos for the exact markings and condition.
Bayonet is in original used military condition with age-related patina, oxidation, surface rust, scratches, finish loss and general wear throughout. I have intentionally not cleaned or refinished it so the buyer can determine how they would like to preserve it.
The black ribbed grips remain intact. Blade is the original full-length 16-inch configuration and has not been shortened to the later 10-inch M1 configuration.
