WWII US Army WIA Lt Colonel Medal Lot w/ Dog Tags & More:
$395.00
This lot is from the estate of Lt Colonel Herbert Rosten. He served during WWII and during post-war occupation. This lot came from an estate sale in Arizona, which makes sense as the only info I could find on him was his grave info; he is buried in Arizona and passed in 1992. I couldn't find any other info on him; I'm guessing because he passed away before everything was posted on the internet. His dog tags are T43 44. The medals are not engraved but earlier issue. The European Theater medal has an Arrowhead device. He was WIA. The 7th Army DUI has a German pin and the 1st Cav DUI was made in Tokyo, Japan. In the photo you had see his name on the desk and he is wearing a 1st Cav patch. At some point he was a member of JAG. Definitively more research needed!
